We are almost 24 hours away from the first leg of the Rochester-Puerto Rico USL 1st Division semifinal series at PAETEC Park.

It will be interesting to see if Puerto Rico is affected at all by their 2-2 draw with Municipal last evening in Guatemala.

It will also be interesting to see who lines up at defensive mid for the Rhinos tomorrow night. Will it be Scott Palguta once again? Daniel Antunez? Will Tiger play that role with maybe Andrew Gregor in front of him?

Or will Coach Tilley come out with something that even Colin Clarke isn't expecting to try and slow down the USL 1st Division regular season champs?

Only time will tell................

News & Notes:

- The Montreal Impact went on the road and defeated Olimpia 2-1 in CONCACAF Champions League play. And on the MLS side, DC United fell 1-0 to Cruz Azul on a fluky re-direct.

- Darren Huckerby was named the MLS Player of the Month for September. He is somewhat quietly adding some bite to the San Jose attack.

- In stunning news, progress on a stadium for the Wizards has been delayed, but it is not stalled per the KC Star. It's going to fun to see who gets a stadium last: KC, DC, or NE.

- Jimmy Conrad is today's guest blogger over at The Red Card.

- Ridge Mahoney's latest at SI.com talks about how Bob Bradley can get creative with his roster for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.  For some reason, that's not what I'm expecting from Bradley.....
