The Rhinos-Battery Quarterfinal series may have lacked the big score lines of Montreal defeating Seattle 4-3 on aggregate and Vancouver getting past Minnesota 5-4 on aggregate, there may have been more red cards in the other series (none in Rochester-Charleston, one in Vancouver-Minnesota, and SIX in Seattle-Montreal), but there was plenty of edge of your seat action and blood getting spilled as the Rhinos advanced to face the regular season champs in the Puerto Rico Islanders.

According to Puerto Rico Islanders FC.com , the first leg will be at PAETEC Park on Friday with the return leg in Puerto Rico on Sunday.

The good thing for the Rhinos is that Puerto Rico has a CONCACAF Champions League match against Municipal in Guatemala on Wednesday. So, the Islanders should have some serious travel legs come Friday night.

News & Notes:

- Dwayne De Rosario has his own website up and running.

- Beckham was in awe when meeting Michael Jordan. Seriously, who wouldn't be?

- Steven Goff's latest The Good, The Bad, and the Coyote Ugly has a lot of Good stuff as there was a ton of scoring this week in MLS.

- Luis Bueno's latest at SI.com looks at the CONCACAF Champions League. And of course, an article on the CCL wouldn't be complete without a section on how the USL is doing better than MLS in the competition.
