I'll admit it's a dream, but Valakari would look really nice in the central defensive midfield spot for the Rhinos in 2007.

MLS' leader in fouls during each of his three MLS seasons and 2004 team MVP, Valakari was made expendable when FC Dallas acquired Adrian Serioux from Toronto FC after the expansion team acquired Serioux from the Houston Dynamo in the expansion draft.

It will be interesting to see if Valakari, a Finnish international, moves on to another MLS squad or if he moves back to Europe where he has played for FinnPa in Finland, Motherwell in Scotland, and Derby County in England throughout his career.

Bruce Arena said the moves to waive players like Meola and Chris Henderson were due to his desire to get a little younger. So the news that the Red Bulls might be trying to acquire the former Glasgow Rangers keeper is a bit of a head scratcher.
